Can I sterilize a nebulizer mask using a baby bottle sterilizer?

My son has a stomach virus and I'd like to clean his neb stuff well. I have a microwaveable steam sterilizer I used on my son's baby bottles and was thinking of using it on his Nebulizer mask. Has anyone done this before? I am particularly concerned about the flexible mask portion holding up, rather than the portion that holds medicine.

1. no need -warm soapy water works well. air dry.
